A custom keyboard can feel like a high-stakes gamble.
It can take months to get your hands on a custom keyboard, and while you can pick one up at a store for £300, there are a number of reasons why you might not want to take that plunge.
We’ve talked about why it’s better to buy a brand new one rather than a refurbished one in the past, but there are many reasons why this can be an uncomfortable decision.
You’re not getting the full custom keyboard experience, you’re missing out on a premium design and you might end up with a keyboard that’s a little less comfortable than the one you had before.
You’ll also likely end up paying a premium for a product that isn’t going to last as long, so it’s a great time to get a new one instead.
If you’re in the market for a custom keyboards, though, we’ve rounded up the best deals we can find for your custom keyboard needs.

If your keyboard needs a little more attention than you’re used to, the Razer Q1 might be the best option.
It’s not as powerful as the Razer Blade, but it’s pretty darned good, and if you’ve got a gaming laptop or a desktop PC with a good-looking keyboard you can’t go wrong with the Razer.
For an extra £200, you can get the Q1 with a USB Type-C port, which allows you to plug in the Razer Core keyboard into a computer’s USB port, instead of the normal USB port on your computer.
It’ll also have a Razer Gaming Mouse with the same RGB LED lighting as the Q4.
That’s pretty nice, and it’s the most affordable option for a Razer custom keyboard.
The Razer Q3 is the more traditional custom keyboard for Razer, which is where the company first started making custom keyboards.
This keyboard is a bit pricier, but if you’re looking for a keyboard with a similar look and feel to the Razer’s Q4, this is a great one.
For £200 more, you get a slightly higher-end keyboard with an LED lighting system, but this one will be much more expensive than the Q3.
It also comes with an extra USB-C cable, and there’s a £30 shipping discount to boot.
You might not get a full custom experience with this one, but we think it’s still worth a look.
The R3 Pro is another option, but with the addition of a USB-A Type-A port and a different RGB lighting system the keyboard is even more expensive.
The only downside is that it comes with a slightly less powerful Razer Core with a different design.
This one’s worth checking out if you need a more custom look or if you want to get the best of both worlds.
The $400 Razer Q5 is another custom keyboard that can look a little weird, but Razer has done a really good job with the Q5, and you can find it on Amazon for just £500.
It has the same lighting system as the R3, but the Razer Elite Chroma RGB lighting keyboard looks much nicer.
It features the same keyswitches as the regular Razer Q4 and is priced similarly, too.
There’s a $400 shipping discount, but you can save even more if you opt for the Elite Chromabike keyboard, which features a USB 3.1 Type-B port.
It does feature a Razer Core Keycap, which has a slightly different layout to the standard Razer Core, but these keyswiffs are not as strong.
It might be a little expensive for a more traditional keyboard, but its got the same functionality as the other Razer custom keyboards and a cheaper shipping price.
If the Razer is more your thing, then the Q7 could be a better option.
This Razer-branded keyboard is designed to be a good deal, with a range of RGB lighting, USB Type A and Type-E ports.
It comes with both the standard and Elite Chromas RGB lighting keyboards and comes with the included Razer Core wireless mouse.
The Q7 costs £300 more than the standard, but does offer a cheaper £30 Amazon discount if you order online.
This is a keyboard for people who want a keyboard, not just a gaming mouse.
It doesn’t have the Razer Classic RGB keyboard lighting system or the RGB lighting on the keys, but is the same keyboard as the original Q7, which comes with no lighting and no mouse.
This will be the keyboard for those who want to keep their Razer keys and keyswipes, but don’t need to spend as much money on a Razer keyboard.
There are also two options for the Q8, which we’ll talk about later in this guide.
The X-TAC3 is a Razer-designed custom keyboard with USB Type C, but unlike the X-tAC2, it
