Sephora customers are entitled to a refund or credit on their first purchase and any additional purchases made after the first, up to $300.
The company offers two types of refunds: One is for the first purchase, the other for the cost of the second purchase.
The first $100 refund can be applied to any purchase made after Jan. 1, 2019.
The second $300 refund is only available for purchases made between Jan. 12, 2020 and Jan. 29, 2021.
In other words, you can’t get a refund if you’ve made a purchase before the expiration date of the first $300 of your refund.
But if you make a purchase after Jan 1, 2021, you’ll receive a $100 credit on the first dollar you pay.
If you pay more than $300 for the same item, you’re entitled to the second $100.
In the event of a dispute, a representative from the company will contact you and you’ll be able to negotiate the terms of your purchase and make your refund request.
You can also cancel your order and request a refund online through Sephor’s website or by calling 800-SEPHOR.
Sephor has faced criticism in the past for its lack of transparency.
In a 2015 article for The Washington Post, the company noted that it didn’t tell consumers what the company’s sales figures were and didn’t reveal the cost for its product, the QVC Remote.
“The QVC remote is just the tip of the iceberg,” the article said.
“It’s a product that sells for $500 and that you can buy on Sephors website.”
Since its inception in 2013, Sephorex has also been accused of misleading customers with the QVGA technology that allowed the company to sell remote speakers that were less expensive than those from its competitors.
The QVASecret, as it’s known, allows a person to control a home theater system and make video calls without any physical remote control.
The company has been criticized for charging consumers more for its products, including QVCs and the QVSecret.
A recent article for Forbes detailed how Sephorox made $20 million from QVC sales in 2016.
Septecost is also a consumer electronics retailer, but its main products are home theater equipment and speakers.
