Newsstand is set to change to a ‘more elegant’ design that includes a new navigation bar, the Times of Canada has said.
The site will now look like the one featured on mobile devices, the Globe and Mail reports.
The redesign was first announced by the Times on Tuesday.
The revamped Times mobile site will also have an expanded news section, which will be used for more comprehensive content, including breaking news, opinion, sports and entertainment.
The Newsroom will also be redesigned to look more like a traditional newspaper, the newspaper said.
A new Newsstand app, which has already been launched, will also bring news and news-related content to the mobile site, according to the Globe.
The mobile site is expected to be fully operational in March 2019.
